TCH-911 - Plant For Insulator Casting

Model TCH-911 is designed for casting epoxy insulators in vacuum. The vacuum chamber is a rugged stainless steel construction and has been carefully electro-polished.

The front door has integral transparent Perspex 40 mm window with additional protective screen.

Into the chamber two tumbling devices are mounted - upper and lower- for filling of two separate insulators in one vacuum run.

The tumbles are manually rotated using two actuators in the front panel of control unit. Both tumbling devices are double crank-and-rocker mechanisms; the first is placed in atmosphere side into the control unit, the second - inside the vacuum chamber. Rotation transmission is through vacuum feedthrough. Second crank-and-rocker mechanism has an adjustable rocker for changing vertical position of filling cup on horizontal shaft. Hand lever regulates the rocker vertical position. The horizontal shaft is hollow and supports the filling cup holder - a knob screw fixes horizontal position.
